At Ai Restoration, we handle everything on the exterior of your home. We’re skilled at thoroughly remediating stucco and resolving underlying damage and problems—but we’re not a stucco-only company. We work with myriad siding options and can ensure that each is installed properly for the safety and longevity of your home.
No matter your current siding, we can remediate and install the siding of your choice to give your home an updated and beautiful look. Here are a few of your exterior cladding options:
Cement Board Siding
Fiber cement siding is a versatile siding material that comes in horizontal boards (laps) with texture options ranging from smooth to natural cedar wood grain. There are several options for sizing and designer colors, so it’s easy to find the perfect fit for your home. As a bonus, this type of siding is resistant to termites, doesn’t rot and is even impact resistant.
Vinyl is a durable, engineered plastic siding option that can be designed to imitate standard clapboard, board and batten or cedar shakes. It’s one of the most common exterior cladding options in the area. Vinyl siding options include insulation, to protect your home from weather and noise.
Brick veneer is made from real brick and designed to be space saving and affordable while still looking rich and authentic. Brick veneer doesn’t require the robust supporting structure that regular brick needs, so the result is fewer seismic concerns, less energy use in transport/manufacturing and lower costs overall. There are multiple options for colors and textures including molded, handmade, glazed and klaycoat.
Sometimes, homeowners choose to replace their damaged stucco with new stucco once the underlying problems have been remediated. In other cases, the water damage only affects part of the home, and the homeowners choose to leave the unaffected stucco in place while replacing it elsewhere. In these instances, homeowners can opt for a combination of stucco and other siding options, such as vinyl, stone or brick.
When it comes to stone, a durable and beautiful option for siding your home, you have three distinct options:
- Real Stone. Real stone siding is made of naturally occuring, solid, authentic stone. It is beautiful, sustainably sourced and will withstand the test of time.
- Real Stone Veneer. Real stone veneer is a thin cut of real stone that installs quickly and is lightweight, but still has that beautiful look of natural stone.
- Manufactured Stone. Manufactured stone siding is a cost-effective alternative to real stone siding and veneer. It is lightweight, easy to install and can be designed to look like the real thing!
Windows & Doors
At Ai Restoration, we are a full remediation company, which means that when we resolve your stucco issues, we’ll take care of any problems or potential problems surrounding the doors and windows of your home, as well. As water often seeps in at doors and windows, we typically find rot and mold around the doors and windows, which will need to be removed and replaced.
We hold a certification as a Marvin Authorized Replacement Contractor, meaning we have specialized training and unique knowledge to perform quality installation of these products. On top of that, our 20+ years of experience ensure we’re fully capable of completing the job correctly.
