Stucco

Is Stucco Really Bad?

The simple answer is no stucco is not bad if done correctly. Stucco is an extremely durable product, but improper stucco installation can lead to catastrophic damages to your home. The stucco you see when you look at your home is only the outer layer of a complete “stucco system.” Problems can arise at any layer of the system, but generally it is the underlying layers of the systems that fail when not done correctly. At Ai Restoration we have been successfully installing stucco systems for almost three decades.

Stucco is Beautiful

Stucco is a stunning exterior option and you should not be afraid of it. Too many homeowners have experienced problems that are frequently incorrectly blamed on the stucco. Stucco has been around for over nine-thousand years and has proved itself to be a viable exterior cladding option many times over. But the way most contractors have installed it over the last thirty years or so is questionable. Ai Restoration is knowledgeable in the correct process of installing stucco, especially on todays-built homes. There are several factors, but the most important is having an “air space” under the stucco to allow for drainage and drying.

Ai Restoration is a Stucco Expert

We have studied and helped design the correct way to install a “stucco system.” We are dedicated to constructing high-performance stucco systems that not only look amazing, but will stand the test of time. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We contracted with Ai to remediate a faulty stucco installation on a retaining wall and on part of our house. From start to finish, the communication was excellent and timely, and the project manager from AI, Brent, explained very thoroughly what the problems were and how they would be fixed. He answered our many questions before and during the job with patience and clarity. The estimate was professionally prepared and very clear as to what we could expect and what the costs would be. Brent kept in touch with us as the job was scheduled and then as it progressed through the phases, so that we were able to plan for the disruption that naturally occurred. The workmen did a superb job of fixing the issues and the finished work looks just great. The stucco areas that Ai fixed are now a point of pride for us, and really add to the appeal of our home. Many thanks to Brent and the crew and Ai!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sean and his team did a fantastic job from start thru completion. The proposal was very detailed identifying all issues to be repaired with costs, and also potential unknowns and associated charges. They emailed detailed status reports (or called) every few days, and the finished work looked great, and was completed within the expected time frame and cost. We highly recommend Ai.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AI Restoration, Bryan D. and his entire team of professionals are first class and delivered a tremendous outcome. Stucco Remediation is not something anyone wants to do, but AI took a bad situation, listened to our concerns, and offered multiple solutions working within our budget. If you are looking for the cheapest "quick fix" then look elsewhere. AI has a proven process that offers true solutions and it shows in the finished product. My highest recommendations to AI Restoration.

The project came in at less then we had budgeted and was done in a timely manner. Ai always does their jobs correctly and to the latest standards. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a major stucco restoration job and AI handled all aspects of the job perfectly. High attention to detail, very knowledgeable. All carpenters and subs were a pleasure to have working here. Had a question pop up months later and they went above and beyond, showing up immediately to help diagnose something that ended up being totally unrelated to the work they had done. Highest recommendation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ai Restoration performed a stucco remediation project on my home. I had a leak coming through the stucco into my home. They took the time to answer all of my questions, thoroughly explaining what caused the leak, how they would repair it and how their system would prevent it from happening again. Everyone I dealt with at Ai Restoration, from the office to the workers who were on site were professional and a pleasure to work with. They took care not to damage any surrounding areas and completely cleaned up afterwards. I am very happy with the results. The new stucco looks great and I now have peace of mind when it rains. I highly recommend them if you're in need of stucco remediation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Traditions at Ridley Creek Condominium Complex were very happy with the $1 million plus siding replacement project Ai recently completed (October 2023). They did everything they promised, worked closely with more than 200 homeowners whose homes they had to invade, left the grounds immaculate and overall did an exceptional job. Their workers were unfailingly polite and responsive and did an amazing job reconstructing our foundations and residing parts of our 11 buildings with upgraded materials. These folks know what they're doing. Jodine Mayberry, president, Traditions HOA.

Everyone I was in contact with was fantastic. They took care of the residents which means a lot in a retirement community. Would I hire them again? Definitely! I would highly recommend Ai Restoration!
